Openload Movies Not Working

In some circumstances you may see an error from certain Kodi add-ons. This isn’t specific to one version of Kodi and affects Kodi 18.2/18.0 Leia or Kodi 17 Krypton version.

What happens here is that when you try to open streams from sources such as

  • Olpair (Openload)
  • tvad.me
  • vidup.me
  • thevideo.me and a few more

In this scenario they ask you to perform a pairing process from their website. This allows the playback of their streams.

There are only a handful of sources where this error occurs, and although you can fix it, it is a pain.

Openload on Kodi demands this pairing so users can access their large library of content. It can be a pain to go through this Openload pair, and performing it for other sources where the same error is encountered, but doing so can be worth it for the top-quality content you can access.

The reason for this is the amount of server requests these file hosts receive. The majority is by humans, but there are countless scripts and bots which are also making these requests.

These jam the servers so this pairing of your IP address is to make sure there is a human on the other end of the connection.

To enhance your streaming experience, you have two methods to get around this pairing issue. Here are the guides to show you how to perform thevideo.me pair authorization for Kodi

Paring Your IP Address

This is the better of the two options. When you pair IP addresses with the website, you stop receiving the error messages on all devices which connect to the same network.

The good thing with this is if you have Kodi installed on your PC, and mobile devices that connect on the same Wi-Fi network with the same IP, you rid the error messages on both devices.

This pairing only remains active for 4-hours on Openload links. Once this is up, you need pair again.

  1. Here are the instructions how you can pair your IP
  2. If a source requires pairing, you see a message – “Openload Stream Authorization.’
  3. Open a browser on your device and follow the link in the message: https://olpair.com
  4. Click the checkbox which say ‘I’m not a robot’
  5. Complete the captcha verification process by selecting the correct images
  6. If you have successful verification, you will see a green check mark. Click the Pair button
  7. When IP’s are paired, you will see a Pairing successful message.

NOTE: These steps show how to get rid of Olpair a. ka. Open Load Stream Authorization.

If have other pairing issues, visit the links given against the stream names perform this process for the other errors similarly.
If using Kodi on remote-controlled devices, such as FireStick, Fire TV or others, follow the below method on a computer, mobiles or tablets connected on the same Wi-Fi network.

Warning: When you pair your IP, you expose your address to your ISP. Using a VPN is a strong recommendation before any pairing so they cannot see your real IP address. This is the same as using any Kodi add-on.

Disabling Hosters With Captcha

This method is easier but you miss out on lots of stream links from Openload and other streams that use this verification method.

While you can’t do it to cover all add-ons in one go, you need to perform this with each add-on.

Navigate to the Kodi home-screen. Open add-ons from Add-ons – Video add-ons

Scroll down and select Tools

Open the ‘Settings’ option: Playback

Be sure you select the Playback option. Scroll down inside the File Hosting Filters section. Disable the Hosters with captchas by toggling the switch.

You will notice, all streams from Openload or any other sources which require pairing and/ or captcha authorization are no longer visible.

When you disable Openload using this method, you will miss out on masses of content streams. It is far better to use the first method, but use a Kodi VPN for the best experience.

This will prevent ISP’s or any department associated with the MPAA from seeing what you are accessing and what you watch free using this add-on and Kodi.
